New Disney Visa "Inspire" card

Apologies if this has been asked/answered already, I searched but didn’t see it. Is the annual fee waived the first year? Our bill has cycled already and we weren’t charged, I was expecting to be charged.
Chase annual fees usually post on the first of the month after your approval. Everyone that was approved in Feb would most likely see a 3/1 fee charged regardless of statement closing date.

I received my card in February and sure enough, the annual fee was posted on 3/1/2026 :D

How can you tell what counts as folio? (For the $2000k)
I called DCL to post onboard credit in my upcoming sailing and it appears as DCL reservations…
Thanks!

Happy to report that my 100$ ticket credit has posted. It posted 2 days after the statement closed. Tickets purchased were Afterhours Party tickets so those qualify in case anyone wanted confirmation. ETA - It actually posted the same day as the statement close date but didn't appear on the statement. The credit currently shows in the "Activity since last statement" section.

On my phone - Rewards Dollar Activity > Transaction details (hope I remembered the correct terms), looks like this: (I’m only including 1 of the transactions, there are multiple with a total $200+). I’m pretty sure the WDW Travel Pckg looked like this too until last night when it updated with the $200 Rewards.
Do you have any transactions for tickets that show anything other than $0 for the ticket credit?

Can you supply the date of the credit as it should be tied to the transaction date and not the statement date otherwise I would think it would have posted at statement close.

Thanks!

Thanks… then.. is better deal to pay with DGC (target 5% discount), isn’t it?
For on ship charges yes.
For on land charges not for the first $2K as that would be 13% off. ($200 Rewards Dollars for spending $2K on Folio charges and then earning 3% on Disney Purchases = $60 which brings the total back to $260 which you can then use PYB to wipe off the charges)

Well that's annoying... wonder why that specifically is called out? So it does not qualify for 0% financing, but does it count towards the spend to 200 Disney reward dollars? It may not even matter tbh, we're going to DL for a couple days in April and will be at Aulani this Christmas, I'm sure I'll find a way to spend 2K between the two one way or another.

I've never had a Disney card before, but the free $600 at the very least makes this seem like a no-brainer. I could cancel before the $149 fee comes up again, but odds are it'd be at least a wash year to year since we tend to hit one theme park or another every year.
It doesn't look like anyone replied to you.

Disney Cruises will qualify for 0% for 6 months and the booking of said cruise will count towards the spend $2k receive $200 Disney Rewards Dollars.

What doesn't count for cruises is charging to your stateroom aka folio.
On Land charging things to your hotel room aka folio does count so in your case you could charge Ama Ama or a treatment from the spa to your room and that would count towards the $2K spend to get $200.

Any charges to your folio whether land or sea will earn 3% back though.

The statement ran from 2/5 - 3/4. The ticket credit is also dated 3/4 but does NOT appear on the statement. It is listed as a new transaction in the "Activity since last statement" section. The ticket purchase date was February 14th.

Thank you for the info.

I'm not surprised it didn't show up on the statement.

I am surprised they didn't do what they have been doing to me lately across my cards and show the credit as the date I made the purchase even though I know it wasn't there then as I would keep looking for it daily.

With DCL, what you did is good if you know you'll have onboard charges because adding onboard credit before the sailing counts toward the $2K spend. It's paying while onboard that doesn't count.

Also did not get the ticket credit after statement closed. Purchased tickets 2/16, statements closed 3/4. It shows on the statement as:
WDW TICKETS-ONLINE 407-828-5630 FL

No credit yet.
Quoting myself to say the credit is now there and dated 3/4/26 even though it showed up this morning 3/6. Sounds similar to #1Disfann.
My tickets were 9-day park hoppers.

I am hoping mine is close behind with a purchase date of 2/17 and my card should close on its first statement mid-next week. I can now see the "Disney Ticket Statement Credit" verbiage under that purchase when I expand it.

That is now showing $100 instead of $0 now correct once you have expanded it?

That is what Chase has been doing for me recently. I think it started sometime last year.

It just drives me crazy as then if you are not on top of it you don't really know how many days it actually took to post. We all know it didn't post immediately but that is what Chase is showing.

Sounds exactly the same as my credit definitely wasn't showing yesterday. I'm happy it came through at any rate!

Mine too and I’m having trouble keeping all the categories straight. I thought the $100 ticket deal was Rewards but it’s a statement credit 💃
