Morning all,
Question, I have searched some labor laws and wanted to know if this was actually true, that an employer does NOT have to give you raises or time off legally if they don't want to. I'm asking because my DH has been with the same company for six years and has never received a raise and gets 10 days off a year (you can use them as you chose as vacation, sick or personal). At my company, you pretty much are guaranteed a raise every year, never more than 3% and get 10 vacation, 10 sick and 4 personal the first year you start! It's just frustrating for DH and myself, I feel very bad for him. (And yes, he's tried looking for jobs, but his field is very competitive and no luck yet). DH and his co-workers have talked to boss about these issues but with no success. Thanks for any info provided.
