question...people who give the massages?

Thinking about booking REAS... the people that give the massage (massuer?) are they all female or do the men get male massuers? DH and I were both wondering!

Hubby and I both use the spa for Massages when we sail. He has had both male and female massuers, I personally have only had female.

We've done spa treatments on many ocassions and the spas on the ship like most other spas have both male and female professionals providing treatments. I always request a female as does my wife and in every instance but once our request was met.

It doesn't hurt to make a specific request and don't be shy about doing so...you won't hurt any feelings. The professionals who work in the spa profession have seen it all. No pun is intended.

I have had both males and females. The males are in the definite minority. My husband has not been asked if he minds a female, but I was asked if I minded a male (which, being a spa veteran, I don't). If you have a preference, never be shy about expressing it. They are great about making clients feel comfortable.

We did the REAS couples' massage last month and we both had a woman masseusse. They both did a great job! A few days later DH and I each had the "Sole delight foot ritual" in the salon, and DH had the same woman that did his massage, but I had someone different. I have to say, it's been a month and my pedicure looks like I just had it done today! None of the polish has chipped or worn off at all, and it's still very shiny! I highly recommend the massages and the foot treatment!

I was at the spa everyday our last cruise and not once did I get a male...I didn't even see one! Next time I will make a request for one and hope i get it..I much prefer a male giving me a massage tha a female.
