Question on waitlisting

Just trying to be clear in my own mind on waitlisting. If I put in a waitlist request for more than one resort for the same night - if one of those requests comes thru, the other requests are automatically cancelled? Or do I need to call and have the others cancelled?

I've not waitlisted for more than one resort before, so I'm not sure on this. Thanks!

Unless the policy has changed, the other(s) cancel. The main disadvantage with this came when I waitlisted for 2 resorts (say it was the BWV and AKV). My first choice was AKV, but BWV came through first, so they cancelled AKV. If I called to have my name put back on the waitlist for AKV, I'd go to the bottom of the list, not my previous position. However, if you're waitlisted at 2 resorts and you don't really have a preference of which you get, yes, they will cancel the other for you.
