Question on Wait List

We booked a few days in Oct for the F&W. We booked at AKV (our home) and wait listed for BWV. Our friends who are going the same time booked after us at AKV and wait listed for BWV as well. My buddy calls yesterday to inquire on if the wait list had come through.....and it had!...so they got their room at BWV.....he called me right away but by the time I called MS was closed for the day. I called this morning to check and the guy at MS tells me that we are still at AKV and our wait list did not change. He also told me that there was nothing at BWV available.

So how does that work? I book first and our friends get the wait list and we don't? Seems a little unfair? Is there anything I can do?

Are there dates a little different from yours? Different view, size of villa?

Nope....exactly the same......

Now you see why others call MS off and on regarding their wait lists. As a phone call sometimes triggers the wait list reservation. It seems very wrong to me.
