Im confused on "todays" tipping. Now that Disney does not clean the room everyday (the last time I was there in April). How do I tip - I used to tip each day because there may be a different cleaner everday - now I think they only clean the rooms every 4(?) dayes? I'm going this Nov for 4 days do I leave a large tip and the end of the week or do I leave my regular tip on the day I leave????

Thanks,

I just leave a couple bucks on the corner of the bed every day. If it is gone when I come back, I know I tipped someone. If it is still there....I put it back on the bed the next day. Rinse and repeat.

Don't over think it.

They come thru every room everyday for life safety check so they might grab it for that

I use the same method as @DSLRuser, but leave it near the coffee maker. It was never picked up when they hadn't at least done trash, towels, replenishment of coffee/toiletries (so not during the daily safety checks. I don't think those CMs are allowed to receive tips?)

No service = No tip. I was thrilled to get full service on our trip to Hawaii and Maui a few weeks ago, and very happy to leave $10 a day for the service. Sorry, but at the full price I would not be tipping for somebody to empty just my garbage can.

Highly personal topic of course, no right, no wrong.

I have been leaving a tip out daily (just in case I get something other than every other day service, which has happened occasionally) and have been purposely tipping more than pre-covid, but to each their own.

When we were there in April, I didn't until the last day since they didn't really provide any service until the final clean when we left.

we actually prefer no service. I just don't like people coming into our room, and we can make our own bed and I personally have no problem using the same towel for days if it get hung up properly.

How much to tip usually results in arguments on here and there is no right/wrong answer to that and everyone's financial situation might be different. If there is no housekeeping, I don't see the need to tip someone for NOT doing a job.
