Hi,
was hoping I could get some help with a question. I know the answer will probably be no but thought I'd ask anyway.
I'm getting ready to book a split stay to use the stay, play dine offer. There is 4 of us. 1st stay is for 4days starting Dec. 30th and 2nd stay is for 5 days starting the 2nd of Jan. On the first stay I was going to do 10 day park hoppers and then on the 2nd stay just put 1 day on there as we use the dining plan. Now for my question.
My son is coming down for the 2nd stay and just staying with a friend of his so will not be on any kind of package. Will I be able to take those 4 1 day passes on our 2nd stay and let him use those. These are really park passes that won;'t get used. If not, how will disney move the rest of my park days from the 1st stay over to the 2nd stay? Will my first stay tickets stay active just for the park days.
I know this sounds confusing. Hope somone understands.

If they are on your package they will have your name on them. You can probably remove the tickets from your KTTW but I don't know if they still would have your name on it.

But technically speaking, yes. Your son could use the tickets since they haven't been used by someone else.

Your tickets are good for 14 days from the first activation, it doesn't have anything to do with your lodging choice.

Regarding the four individual tickets that you want your son to use. Yes, he can use those as they are not tied to an individual or yet activated, however, sine this is the budget board, I need to point out that your DS will be using 4 one day tickets at costing $89 (pre tax) total of $356 (pre tax) A four day ticket purchased outright is $256 again this is pre tax.

ETA You could save those 4 tickets for the next time you come to DW.

I know it's 4 1day tickets that he would be using but we only need 10 days with our park hoppers. If I do 9 days and us the 1 day on the 2nd stay for us to use then our package ends up going up over 100.00. That's why I figured I would just get the whole 10 days on the first stay, then give him the 4 1day tkts from the 2nd stay for him to use as the price is actually lower. I know our names will be on the card for the 1 day tickets but since they had never been used and only have 1 day on them I figured he could use them. I also didn't know if the tickets have our names attached to each one. Anotherwords, I'll be using the ticket from my first stay with my name on the card and my son would be using the ticket from my 2nd stay with my name on also. I just wanted to make sure i would be able to do that before I have him use them.

I would think about buying his ticket outright as someone else mentioned. Those 4 1day tickets could be saved & used down the road to "upgrade" future tickets at a lower cost. We have done this in the past when we could take advantage of special offers.

Four one-day adult tickets = $356 plus tax.

One four-day adult ticket = $256 plus tax.

Unused tickets never expire, and can be used on a future trip to upgrade from whatever is the current gate price to the tickets you need.

Just to clarify, the "ticket" for the second part of your stay with your name on it that you're referring to is also your room key and how you get food on the dining plan. So you really couldn't just hand those four over to your son to use as his park tickets. You will want to have to have the park tickets removed from the KTTW cards. Give him the individual park tickets (no names on them) and keep the cards with the printed names for room keys/dining.
