Question on the Concierge Collection

I was looking at the points chart for the Concierge collection, and read this...

• Members cannot book and travel on Concierge Collection vacations within the last 4 months of their use year.

Does this mean there is no way I can ever stay at one of these resorts in the summer since my use year is October???

No. What it means is that you have to book more than 4 months out from the end of your UY. So for example if you wish to travel in August you need to book it by May 31st at the latest. Theoretically this is because DVC will need to "pay" for your concierge room by renting out your DVC room and they need to allow a little more time then 4 months to attempt to do that.

You'll see this referred to as the 'rule of 4'.
