I am staying at BCV in Oct, in a studio for two nights, and then changing to a 1 br when more people arrive.

Was wondering how anyone handles the luggage for the move - I assume I need to pack up and leave with Bell Services if the next room isn't ready? Any other options?

What has your experience been with the second room being ready? Do they try to get you in early because they know you are changing, or is it just like a normal check-in?

Thanks for your help!

I'd remind them at origianl check-in that you will be moving to a 1BRduring the stay and would appreciate any consideration for being "homeless" for as short a period as possible.

I'd go to the desk the evening prior to the move and again let them know how much you'd appreciate any help being "homeless" as little as possible. (Ask them how early you should check in the morning.)

The morning of the move (well before 10:00am) , I'd again go to the desk and remind them that you'll be homeless and would appreciate any help minimizing your inconvenience. They may be able to provide a room right then. :) If not, you should still be prepared to store luggage with the Bell staff (they will come to your room to pick it up- just call) and let them assist with the move when the room does become available later in the day.

Depending on the occupancy of the resort the night prior, you may well have a room ready by 10:00am (or eariler).

Good Luck!
