Question on shipping back home from resort

I have read how so many of you ship a package to your resort to be waiting on you,but could someone let me know about shipping the things back.We are not going to have as much to ship back,but was wondering about the box,tape,do you ship from front desk,is it UPS or what,etc.We have had packages shipped home of things we have purchased in the past but this will be our first time shipping down and back.Any help would be great.Thanks.

1. If you buy things and want those shipped, they can take care of it right there at the cash register. They provide the box, packing, tape, etc.
2. If you accumulate items & want to ship at end of trip, its more questionable. No matter what the resort concierge can help.

We encountered the need to ship after the land portion (before sea portion) of trip. We were at POR and had terrible service all week! Shocking! They sent us to the gift shop to ask for extra packing boxes from their back room. We packed it and taped it all up. I believe we had a choice to UPS or FedEx. We chose UPS. Per the service, we were afraid it would never get home. However, it was there before we got back home after the cruise!

For awhile Disney changed the rates from weight to value of items in box (based on how much you spent), but I believe it's now back to size/weight of box.

You can always have the resort pack and ship your packages....there will be a small (?) handling fee.

Otherwise....you can scoot just outside WDW to the UPS store...they will package and ship your newest treasures. It's very easy! It's in the same shopping center as Publix.

Got to UPS online and print the address for the nearby UPS stores. Easy!

We shipped a box down for the first time last trip. It worked out fine. We made up the label on the computer before we left and put it inside the box with packing tape. We packed up our box and brought it to shipping in the hotel and they sent it home for us. My only issue was that DH took the box down while I was getting ready and he did not get any kind of receipt from them so I will tell you that I was nervous until the box arrived home. I will definately do this again.
