Question on Pembe/Savannah View at AKL, Kidani

We're booked via DVC for 2 nights (separate bookings) at AKL.

I noticed on the check-in online that you can request for room views.

Thing is, was going to go with a request for each to take in the Pembe and the Sunset Savannah.

However reading some stuff it says the Pembe Savannah is pretty poor and not too great compared to the Sunset. I did notice that the Okapi are on here, and nowhere else.

Just wondering what people's opinions are if they've sampled them both or such.

I've not stayed @ Kidani (have stayed next door @ Jambo) and since no one else has responded, I'll start - I did see Pembe Savanna when I took the Wanyama dinner safari (wonderful, BTW) Pembe is a very small savanna, Sunset is the largest savanna and when I last saw it 12/12 it had a lot of zebras - I've posted a link from a couple of months ago where someone had the same question and received several replies. Personally I'd choose Sunset, because there are more animals there and it's much larger.

I personally think Sunset Savannah is much better. That is where they have the zebras, giraffes, and ankote cattle (sp?). Pembe savannah has a lot of smaller animals.

I love the savannah view for the giraffes. There aren't any giraffes on Pembe savannah, so we requested Sunset savannah. I recall others enjoying Pembe, and I'm a fan of Okapi, but not as much as the giraffes : )
