question on park tickets

This is the first time we are going as part of a package and first time since they switched to MYW tickets. Our previous trips we had old park hoppers that we used up. So what can I expect for Park tickets this time since we are going on a MYW package with dining. Are the tickets part of our room keys and do they have the dining right on those keys? Also, since we are planning on making these hoppers non expiring since we got a good deal with the package, what will I have to keep for the next trip? I think I read I had to sign it or something and that I am not able to say use my hubby's left over ticket if I go back for a girls weekend! Right?

Any information would be helpful! :)

You'll have to keep the room keys for your next trip.

The room keys have two numbers encoded on them. The top number is your Ticket information. The bottom number ( Resort ID: ) is your charging, room key, and dining. When you check out, they only deactivate the top number.

Your room key will have your park tickets and dining plan encoded on it. The dining credits are kept track of on a central computer, so either of you can use your key to pay for a snack or meal.

I'm not sure, but I'd guess you just keep your key to use the leftover park days. They may re-key them onto a new key next time you go, but I'm not sure.

And no, you can't use each other's tickets on another trip. The first time you enter the park, your ticket will be linked to your biometric scan.

Enjoy!
