Question on Le Cellier ADR's...

We're going next week and there is no Le Cellier availability for lunch or dinner on 1/25.

However, if I search reservations for tomorrow 1/19, I can find lunch and Dinner.

Is this typical?... people cancelling reservations a few days before frees up reservations on short notice?

Would I likely see this happening next week, try to book Wed ADR on Tuesday with some likelihood of success?

Thanks!

Maybe...possibly...perhaps...there's really no way of knowing what will be available on any given day.

That being said, when we were there in October we were surprised at availability 1-2-3 days in advance. I think people get to DW, find their plans change and revise their dining plans. I know we made changes to our plans.

With the new credit card guarantee policy for sigs and character meals there will probably be more last minute openings at those restaurants as people cancel a day or two in advance to avoid the no show/no cancel penalties. While it won't take full effect until late April, I'm sure some people are already affected by it.

I wouldn't wait until the day before, but start checking now to see what comes up at Le Cellier.

Good luck.

LeCellier now requires a CC guarantee to book, with cancellations accepted up to 10pm two days before the meal date or there is a no show/late cancel charge of $10 per person. Your odds of snagging an ADR one or two days in advance can be good now. BTW, the 10pm cut off is when the dining res line shuts down for the night.
