Hi Everyone! I own a dance studio up here in MA and was hoping to take our dance company down to Disney to perform next April! While down there I would love to bring our dancers to Crystal palace and O'hana! Two of my favorites! We would be traveling with about 18 dancers and 10-18 chaperones. Would we be able to make a reservation for that large of a group? Just figured I would check....or would they let us make a few reservations...like four reservations for 9 people each a few minutes apart?

Thanks so much!

Call Disney dining and ask for the group dining phone number. Group dining can answer your questions and make suggestions.

:upsidedow Will your trip be booked as one party or seperate ones? If booked as one party it will be considered a Grand Gathering and the GG "specialists" are wonderful, especially when it comes to Dining. There are also perks when booked as a Grand Gathering that you may be interested in doing. :upsidedow

I just found out today that Ohana and Hollywood and Vine can accommodate large parties; I think up to 16. But you can make reservations for large parties at any restaurants and split up between two or more tables. You just need to make them asap because the big tables book up fast.

Thanks so much everyone! We would book as one giant party! I didn't even know that there was a special phone number that you would call! I've been to Disney about 8 times and am a DVC owner so I'm def the kind of Disney fanatic that's on the phone exactly 180 days in advance lol BUt I have no clue what to do with a larger group!

When I was booking for 15-18 guests during our last trip I discovered that it differs by restaurant on what they're able to accommodate. I worked with Grand Gatherings and Group Dining (an hour each!) when doing my ADRs. I found that most places (Chef Mickey's and Boma come to mind) also have designated time slots for larger groups (typically beginning and end of seating hours).

:wave2: For Grand Gatherings, you would call the "regular" Disney numbers (for booking your trip and for dining) yet there is a prompt saying something like, "If your party consists of 8 or more people..." Or you could always simply ask for a GG Specialist. Here is a link that gives a little info on what is available for Grand Gatherings http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wd...roducts?id=GrandGatheringsSpecialProductsPage Enjoy! :upsidedow :upsidedow

Well with all the new changes - (Which it wouldn't matter anyway since you have such a large group)

18% tip will be added on to dining.

I know most people tip that anyway and some feel different about buffets but just wanted your group to be prepared.

All the little extra expenses do add up.

I know you're group will have a wonderful time. We had a group of 15 this January and are doing a group of 14 this coming January.

Early seating and late seating as mentioned before usually works best at most of the restaurants.

I called O'hana and they said they could accomodate us no problem as long as it was the first reservation! I still don't know how we are going to organize so many people, but we'll figure something out! Hopefully our dancers are chosen to perform while we are down there!

Does anyone have any idea if Crystal Palace could accomodate us? I know the restaurant has small tables so I wasn't sure
