Question on free dining 2013

Hi all, it has been almost 4 years since I have been on here. We went in 2009 and 2010. We had went in mid august and were lucky enough to get fd. We'll we would like to book a room at contemporary for now for august 2015. After looking at the past few years I see last year they didn't have fd I august is that correct? Also the year before that it was the last week in august? We currently have a pin for 30% off and water park upgrade for this summer through end of august but unfortunately not going until next year. I'm not sure which week in august to pick as it all seems inconsistent now with the free dining dates all over the place.

August wasn't included in FD last year. I'd say it's probably out for good, but this year will be the telling year in that I think.

I'd just pick dates that work for you instead of trying to guess about FD, especially if you're going either way.

Thanks for your response I just wanted to be sure. I have the feeling too fd is out for august. I think I'll just go with mid august and hopefully we will at least get the 30% off for next year since they have have had that the past few years at that time .

I was just on the phone with a CM at WDW who said that at a meeting they told them that there would be no free dining for fall this year. We all know that CM's can be wrong so take it for what it's worth.

There was no public FD last year, but we got it with a PIN. Ours started on 8/25 last year and I heard of many others getting it too. We booked a bounce back again for this year, starting 8/20.
