Question on DME pickups on different days

We are going to WDW in October.
For this trip our DS, who is in college will be joining DH, DD and me.

He will fly in from Oklahoma where he goes to school, and wait for us at MCO until our flight arrives. Then we will all take ME to POP where we will stay the first night before moving to SSR. (our flight arrives at midnight).

We will be there 7 days but he will have to leave likely on day 3 to get back to class.

My question is: will he be able to take ME separately from us? We are not doing a package since all of us, except him, have APs. (we'll just buy a MYW pass for him beforehand)

Yes no problem at all as long as he is on the Ressie.

Just let them know when you check-in at the ME counter.

We set our last trip up so 3 of the 5 took ME and DN was arriving mid week with no problem.

They will just note it and give him about a 3 hr time before his flight.( have this info when checking -in)

DS could even take ME right away and enjoy a park (if he gets there several hours before you and already has his ticket and a copy of the room ressie papers). Then you would all meet up at the resort.

Caution: If he is doing 4 or more days it is uneconomical for him to buy a one day basic ticket that afternoon and starting the next day use the hopper you get for him after you all meet up.
