Question on Disney's Magical Express

Is there a way to view or edit through MDE the date and time I put in for the Disney's Magical Express? When I go to MDE, all I see is a telephone number to call.

We've never used this before so do they give us a special tag to put into our luggage? So does that mean as soon as we get off the plane, we can head out and get on the first available Disney bus that we see?

Did you provide them with your flight information?? Yes, you will get a yellow luggage tag -- 1 per person - to put on your bag, that will get it routed right to your hotel room -- that usually arrives 2-3 weeks before you arrive.

Yes I think I did provide them with some info. That's why I wanted to see/view/edit the info because there's a possibility we may change our flight/arrival time.

You should probably call. But they deal with flight delays and changes all the time. When you check in at the DME location in the airport, they will scan your band and direct you to the appropriate bus.

You should post these questons on the Transportation Forum here on the DIS rather than here on the resorts forum. Lots of experts there that can help you out.

Thank you. I apologize. I did not search extensively in the forum and did not know there is a transportation section. I think I will just give them a call.

Of course, the transportation people don't hide out exclusively in there.

If your flight is coming in between 10pm and 5am, you will NOT use the yellow tag, and you will go get your own bags and bring them onto the bus with you (anything but backpack sized items will be put in the luggage compartment under the bus by the driver after you hand them to him/her).

If your flight is coming in between 5am and 10pm, though, you can use the luggage delivery service. As was stated, this takes 3+ hours from checkin, so if you're landing at 9pm and are going straight to bed, you might want to not use the tags and get your bags anyway. No matter what, pack what you will need for the first 36 hours in carryons, so that if bags are delayed (by the airline or DME) you won't have issues.

If you're coming in the same day as you had already planned, changing the time isn't that important. You aren't assigned to a particular bus from the airport.
