Question on Disney Dollars from creation rewards

Can you use that anywhere in WDW or is it only for use at the stores. We are going in June and I will be getting some and would love to use it on food if able.

We went in January of 2004 and used the card (with money) to pay at several locations. It was good for food, stores and when I checked out, I had them use up the remaining dollars for the hotel room. So as long as the program has not changed, it worked well.

At least I feel like I get something for using my credit card now.

A word of caution. If you have never redeemed points before, make sure you request your card in plenty of time. It took several weeks and almost didn't have them for the trip.

When we went in 2001 I had gotten a bunch of Disney Dollars through several different rewards sites and I used them everywhere -- mostly to pay for snacks at the carts in the parks.

They're accepted like cash all over WDW, except possibly the stores and restaurants that aren't owned by Disney. I just thought of that -- has anyone tried to use them at, say, Planet Hollywood, House of Blues, etc?

I love Disney Dollars!

I always cash out for Disney Dollars from CreationsRewards and Quick Rewards and used them on our winter trip to WDW.

We used them just like cash: at the resort, the park, the restaurants! Even to pay for snacks, pins, souvenirs,etc.
