Question on Dining Plan

When looking at menus on wdwinfo.com many of them will say something like "Disney Dining Experience 20% Discount". If I am looking at a menu that is a restaurant on my dining plan list, I thought it meant it was free as part of my dining plan. What does it mean 20% discount??

Disney Dining Experience card is different than the Dining Plan. DDE is a card that can be purchased by AP holders or Florida residents that gives you a 20% discount at most TS restaurants.
