Do the windows in the rooms at CBR open? Since there is no balcony I am hoping they open to get some air into the room. Thanks for any replies.

We were just there about 3 weeks ago and the windows in our room did not open. Due to some of the huge flies and other insects, I wouldn't recommend leaving the door open either.

We found the room to be comfortable, though. It didn't seem stuffy to us if that is what you are worried about. Hope this helps.:)

Thanks for the reply. I was worried about it being stuffy. How did you like the resort? It is our first time staying there. Which building were you in?

Sandyneck, CBR is a great resort. You can turn the ceiling fan on and you will get nice air movement in the air. The housekeepers usually turn it on while they are cleaning.

It depends on what you want to be close to what Village I would recommend.

You might want to look at the CBR FAQ thread. I also have pictures on my web site of CBR.

We have stayed there lots of times. It is our favorite resort.

We were in Trinidad South. I've read lots of posts about how inconvenient this location is (and it is kind of a long walk up to Port Royal) but it has its advantages. It was very quiet, the bus stop was right next to our building (I believe the other stops are on the outer edges of the parking lots rather than next to the buildings) and the walk to Port Royal gave us a chance to see more of the resort. It is really beautiful. We were only there for 4 nites - I wish we'd had more time. I guess my only complaint was that the foodcourt didn't have more choices. The food was good, just not as many choices as you would find at the All Star foodcourts. We took sandwich fixins and fruit to keep in the room and just ate that a couple of nites. If we go back for a longer stay at CBR (or anywhere other than All Stars) we will make a grocery run after we check in so that we can have more food options. But we like to eat several meals in the room cause we get tired of dealing with restaurants after a few days. Hope this helps.:)
