Question on car rentals without CC info...

So I have been looking for the best deal on a car rental for spring break.
I found a couple of good deals - one thru Advantage for $281.02 total for a full size and one thru Dollar for $340.96. I know both prices are pretty crappy but better than anything else I could find.

Now heres the thing - neither required CC info to reserve. So Im wondering if either deal with actually be available when I get down there.

My concern is since there wasnt an option to take payment then I will not have a car when I get there.

So I rented thru Budget and got a full size for $335 total.

Now - should I try to cancel my previous reservations or just forget about them and not do anything since all they have is my name and email address?

When I book a Car Rental ... my Credit Card information ... is *Not* required.

I use the confirmation number to access the reservation.

Almost nobody requires a CC to book a a car unless you have signed up to bypass the counter to go straight to the car.

It would be nice if you canceled reservations you don't need to free up a car someone else might need. You could have done this in the time you spent posting here.

It's true that you don't need a credit card to make a reservation for a car rental, unless you got a prepaid deal.
