I love a good Cobb salad & the BD has Cobb Salad for 2 listed on the appetizer menu for dinner. If I ordered this would it equate in size for a normal salad meal since its supposed to be an appetizer salad for 2? I don't want to starve to death, LOL - and wondering if I should do something else. I see the normal Cobb as a meal but only on the lunch menu & I believe we will be going at suppertime.

I saw one pass my table last time I ate there and my eyes nearly fell out of head - the thing was huge!! I think you'll be fine (and you can always fill any space in your stomach up with dessert!).

I think the lunch entree salad and the dinner appetizer for two salad are the same size, more or less. I have a small Brown Derby Cobb Salad addiction, and highly recommend going for it. With the salad, some rolls, and a dessert, you'll be plenty full.

I've asked our waiter at HBD if the appetizer salad for two was the same as the lunch portion, he said that it was. I've ordered it for dinner several times, and it seems to be the same as the lunch salad.

It looks huge, but once all the ingredients are mixed, it isn't any larger than, say, a Cheesecake Factory salad. In fact, I'm able to finish more of my Cobb Salad at HBD than I can salads from Cheesecake Factory!;)

That's right, don't forget the salad comes with warm rolls and butter too! That ought to fill you up just fine, in fact I often can't finish my entire salad it's so darn big. :)

I've got another question about this. Can you order it without egg? I love everything else, just not so much the egg!

I love their cobb salad, but I don't care for eggs. Yes, you can order it without eggs.

We split the cobb salad appetizer between 4 of us (2 A, 16 yo. boy & 17 yo. girl), & we had to leave some in order to have room for an entree. It's more than I could eat by myself, even if it's the only thing I ordered.

Much as it seems wrong to tinker with a classic I am hoping we can order the salad without blue cheese (a personal pet hate) when we visit next year.

We want to try the BD,and looking at the Menue the Cobb looks like the best for me,were not real big sit down facy dinner(planet hollywood, rainforest about the norm) eaters so BD looks like a streach.

This was our fav. salad at Disney. Last year when we went my hubby ordered one, I ordered one and my kids split a kids meal and shared some of my salad! It was a large portion! We were full, but we still ordered the grapefruit cake for dessert!!! IF YOU GO TO THE BD YOU MUST MUST MUST order the grapefruit cake!!! It is out of this world! We get it EVERY TIME, and that says a lot because my hubby HATES cake!

Fantastic, would you recommend the salad without the cheese? It looks really good.

Definitely! We got everything but the cheese & it was very good. We're adventurous eaters & will try anything. For some reason, none of us like blue cheese though.
