Question on bounce back??

OK, I may sound stupid because I should know this but what the hay....What is the bounce back??? Is it like on the Disney Cruise when you book another vacation while on the boat?

I've never been on a Disney cruise, but what you described fits the bounceback offer for the resorts. Guests staying in WDW resorts between certain dates in Aug. through Sept. this year are being offered free dining if they book a stay next year that begins between (I think) 8/31 and 9/27.

Yes - Just got back and the bounce back for free dining next year could be booked while you were still at the resort. Once you check out the offer is no longer good. We did not book but that was the deal.

OK, so it's only offered to certain people during a certain time? On the disney cruise, anyone can rebook and get a discount on their next cruise. I think it's 10% or 20% off of their next cruise.

No, its not just certain people, unless you consider all guests staying on WDW property as "certain people".

Anyone staying at a WDW resort from late Aug. through today or tomorrow (I think) can receive the bounceback offer. The problem is WDW doesn't seem to be too anxious to promote the offer. Some folks are getting flyers in their rooms or the packet they receive on check-in; others receive nothing. If those folks that didn't receive anything don't happen to watch the resort channel in their room (busy schedules means a lot don't) or hear about it some other way they would never know. Handout of the flyers seems to be without any rhyme or reason. I was there from 9/01 - 9/09 and never received anything in writing about it, but I knew about the offer (because of DIS) before I left and I did see a really vague mention of a special offer on the resort TV channel.

This has only been done twice - in December of last year a bounceback for free dining in September of this year was offered, and from the end of Aug. until (I think) today, its being offered for this same time next year, and there is no way of knowing if another bounceback will be offered at another time.
