I own 160 points and say that I want to borrow an additional 40 from a future use year to make a 200 point reservation for the current year.

If I decide to change that reservation back down to say a 150 point ressie
>31 days out, I know that I can no longer bank the 40 borrowed points (i.e. must use at least 40 this year). My question is can I still bank 50 points from the current use year into the future year, esstentially replenishing the borrowed 40 and adding 10 more to give me 170 for the future year?

Yes you can as long as you're within your banking window. When you cancel the 200 point reservation, and re-book using 150 points, just make sure you tell the MS CM to use the borrowed points first before using current use year points. If you can, bank the additional 50 points at that time. Just remember those 50 banked points will have to be used by the end of the use year they've been banked into.

Yes, you can do that as long as you are within your banking deadlines.
