We are going in late August and staying at WL. If I check in at 11pm what sort of room will I get?

I have a courtyard view booked. I asked for non smoking with bunk beds. I will fax the requests again 4 days before as I have read about on these wonderful boards.

If I check in that late will I get the dregs of the rooms? If I do get a bad room can I get it changed in the morning?

Thanks,
Grace

I've never checked in late but maybe you should call down there before you go and address your concerns to the room assigner instead of faxing?

I'm sure someone else can help you out with a better answer!!!

I would send your fax 4 days before and then call the morning of your arrival to see if a room is assigned to you.

If you are not happy with what you get, you can change the next day, but you may be out of a room for part of the day (checkout is 11am, checkin is 3:00pm).

My last stay at WL we had a check-in at 12:15a.m., and received the exact room # that we had requested by faxing in 4 days prior. (Courtyard View w/ view of lake, pool & geyser) This was during a very busy summer season also. I have heard that rooms are pre-assigned before your actual check-in date, so if you faxed your request in it shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks for all your advice. I will do the fax and hopefully that will be enough.
