Question? Ocean of Words Cricut cuts? Worth it?

Hypothetically... - let's say that this cart was on clearance near you for $24.99 (or online for $21... )

The Scrapbook Pal site's PDF is helpful, but...doesn't seem to show all the pages of the booklet - leaves off *just* where I wanted to start looking - at page 50.

I don't want any of the word fishies - but some of the other cuts are interesting. (But, I already have LAB - and it looks like significant overlap...thanks PC )

I love the treasure chest, binoculars, surfboards, etc., and cutting lots of different fishies without the stupid words cut into them. Is that possible? Do these cuts look ok, or does the blackout style just make 'em look flat? Is the treasure chest the exact same one as on LAB - that you can't shadow, etc.?

Can anyone point me to images of the booklet pages after page 50?

Thanks! I'm just not sure if this is worth it...or not... I'm insanely cheap and only pay $20 and change for the carts I REALLY want/need. (I prefer paying $5-10, which I've been lucky enough to do for some of mine!)

Some of the images are similar but not identical, to the LAB cart - the dolphin, sea turtle, etc. are more realistic and less cartoony looking. The wave is different from either of the two waves on LAB, I think. The treasure chest and anchor seems to be the same. But there are a few images on this and not on LAB that might come in handy.

Hmmmmm...any more input from folks? Thinking, thinking...

Can you really get cartridges for that cheap? I have seen them on sale often for as low as $30, but not lower than that.

They had a demo of the Cricut at our local Costco and now my DD10 wants one, and I wouldn't mind one either
