Question: It's all about "Timing"

Staying at Pop Century: Reservations at Chef Mickey's at 7:30 AM. What time should we be down at the bus stop to start on our way?

run about every twenty minutes. You're never sure if you are arriving just before or just after the bus departure. Forty-five minutes would be the safe time.

There are special buses that run for early character meals. Probably the best thing is to check with Guest Services at Pop to see what time the early bs runs.

Would it be faster to take the bus to the MK then jump on the momo-rail over to the Contemporary? This would be my guess, but last time we drove everywhere so that was much faster and no waiting. I know at the resort with the packet of info you will get a transportation list which shows you the best way to get from here to wherever. We stayed at POP the past 3 trips and but not sure if they have a ditrect bus to the Contemporary.

what time does the MK open when you are there? will busses even be running in time to get you there? honestly at that hour I'd probably just take a cab

We just get a cab. Best $10 just to not have to worry about the hassel!

I remember going out for breakfast a few years ago...just couldn't remember what time I left...I do remember going on the forums...A young man who, at the time, was one of the bus drivers, informed me what time to be down at the bus stop and it was a different time than what they had recommended at the front desk. The bus driver was right...

Yes! I never bother with the concierge or anything. Always trust the purple pants!!

That's right!!!! I wish I could remember his name...He was so informative...I wonder if he is even at Disney any more...Actually, when Pop Century first opened....he was one of the Greeters...He was excellent! Later he became a bus driver....Seemed like a very nice young man!

We took a cab from POP to Chef Mickeys breakfast 8am res, it cost $17.00 plus tip. We weren't late though and it is a good thing as we would have had a 2 kid meltdown by missing it!

I have reservations for my nine people in my group...But, I think 7 other people who will also be at Pop during that time might have reservations at the same time..... They wanted to try to make their reservations the same time as ours at some of the places...I don't know for sure, yet...All I know is that I have all of mine made, except for T-Rex...which I hope will be taking reservations by January like they said they would...
