Question from first time Disney Cruiser

Me, my husband, my 10 year old son and my parents will be going on The Wonder in May and I have a question.

We are doing the Land Sea cruise- 4 days on land and 3 days at sea. The adults are going to take turns going to Palo's. When one of us goes to Palo's the other will dine with my ds and one night we will all dine together. Which night would all you suggest that we all dine together? Which dining room is the best? I was thinking maybe the last night we should all dine together. Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

BTW, we booked with DCL but called AAA and got them to transfer out res. and we will all be getting the refillable soda mugs! I found out that info. from this wonderful board!

You guys are so great! I will porbably be asking LOTS more questions!

You will love Palo!! And beware...it's easy to get addicted to DCL. We just returned from #18, and the next one is Feb. 7th.
I would recommend Animators Palate as the best place to dine together as a family. With the show, it will be really neat. Of course, you won't know ahead of time which night you will be in AP. We always end up on the TAP rotation and do Palo on the last night, as Parrot Cay is our least favorite (although we heard they now have nightly specials that are supposed to be quite good).

Inkkognito is right on! I did my first ever cruise this month - the 3-night Wonder. I am now booked for the 4-night Wonder on May 12. When schedule and finances allow, I hope to do the Magic 7-night Western Caribbean.

Parrot Cay was also my least favorite, because I decided to try the Cuban steak (having avoided all beef until that final evening) and it was downright leathery and tasteless. FYI: Although it was not on the menu, I was informed by the waiter that prime rib was also a choice. I'm looking forward to the May cruise since I've learned a few of the ropes now.
