I have a i-8 cell phone, I have a Waze App on it which I have used many times. My car has a sound system with Bluetooth connections which is does with my phone. When I first started using Waze (same car) it instructed me to directly plug in a connector line to my car system from my phone and I would get the Waze map on the car screen and whomever that person is that is living in my phone would speak through my car speakers (like I was told it would do). Then something happened, I don't know what, but when I connected my phone to my car system the map would show up on the car screen and when the voice was supposed to be giving direction, the system would automatically shut down the radio or whatever but no voice was to be heard. It's important to say that I don't remember changing any settings on the phone and there weren't any that I know of on my car system. Strictly, by accident, I stopped plugging it into the system and decided to just use the phone and the voice was back on my car speakers, like what my phone does if someone calls me (I assume via Bluetooth) but the map did not show up on the screen.
Does anyone know why that might have happened. It is close to impossible to contact Waze. I have found a place to ask a question but have not received any answer from them. Has anyone else had that same situation?
