The thread on the prices of LE's reminds me of the HM boxed pin set I bought in DL the end of May.The price had been marked up on all the HM boxed sets from $40 to $45. (Hand written in ink on most of them.)
I asked the CM about it. She said it was a price increase due to the cost of making pins.
I bought the dang thing anyway.
But my guess is when Disney has LE pins manufactured, they make all the numbers at one time, correct? Seems like it would be cheaper that way.
I just always thought it was cheezy on Disney's part to raise the price once the item had been on the shelves. (And had been for awhile. It's not like they sold out fast.)
Am I the only one to think this?
