I was wondering if anyone has tried the john frieda brilliant brunette line? I've seen alot of advertisements for this line and the sheer blonde. Seeing as I'm a brunette...the blonde line won't work.;)
But I'd love to hear any and all comments on the brunette line. I'm thinking about trying it.
Sooo...let me have it...the good, bad and ugly! Worth it or not? What's your favortie?

Thanks!!!:D

I was wondering the same thing myself. I am loathe to try it until someone else tells me what their experience with it is.

I was just looking at that yesterday ... but opted for Suave's $.88 Orange Cicle shampoo and conditioner instead. LOL! Looking for something just to spend money on I guess. :p ;)

I am curious what others have to say too! :Pinkbounc

I am currently using their finishing cream (the one you put on dry hair, not wet). I like it... my hair is medium brown with very auburn highlights. It makes the highlights really stand out - not that they don't. For frizz factor, its okay... but I find that if I use it on different layers as I straiten my hair, it works better (BTW - I clip off sections, use my iron, and then put the stuff on and move to the next layer).

It may work better as a full line, but I am happy with the minor results in the cream.

and LOVE it !!

I have the Shine Release MOISTURIZING shampoo, VOLUMIZING shampoo , and Light Reflecting Conditioner all in the Amber to Maple for lighter shades of brown.

I prefer the Moisturizing shampoo though.
I have always used cheaper brands of shampoo, just because I am budget concious I guess. But this brand makes my hair feel wonderful and healthy! I could feel (and see) the difference the first time I used it.
I use the conditioner maybe 2-3 times per week and it really adds alot of shine.

I am a light amber brown brunette with a little help from Loreal Excelence Cream::yes::
Have to cover up those grey hairs though 'ya know !!

Just FYI.....Walmart has it for 5.49 and Target has it for 5.99 :sunny:

I really like it! Especially since it has something in it that gives the hair more body, similar to their volumizing shampoo. I do notice more highlights, too. You should definately give it a try!

Thanks for the replys!!! Looks like I'll have to check it out next time I'm at walmart.:)

My dd loves this stuff. She uses the moisturizing shampoo and the light reflecting conditioner and something that she puts on her hair while it's wet, before she irons it straight. I do notice her highlights a lot more since she started using this stuff.
