Question for Slimfasters

Hi everyone - I have been a wish member for a few weeks now but just picked a plan. Last friday I started Slimfast - seems to be the one that will work best for me. Just wondering for those of you doing Slimfast - what can you give me for suggestions for snacks?? I usually have a meal nar for breakfst - glass of juice around 10am - shake for lunch - 1/2 bagel or SF snack bar mid afternoon and a sensible diner (no seconds- no dessert) - how am I doing so far?? I know that the reason I never stuck with Slimfast in th past is because I did not eat enough and got too hungry and gave up - not this time !!!!
 
Sounds like you are doing good, I usually don't even have snacks now that I've been doing Slim Fast for several weeks. I don't even get hungry until about 4:30 and then sometimes I need a piece of fruit or a Slim Fast snack bar. I'm going to start Atkins August 1st though for a change of pace. Slim Fast is really easy if you work though, I like being able to grab the shake and go! Good luck!!!
 
I've been doing slim-fast since April 1st and lost almost 35 pounds (34.5 HA!) I have found the weeks that I lose the most (sometimes 3-4 pounds) are when I've stuck to eating snacks ( making myself sometimes just to keep the metabolism kicking) and making sure my snacks/meals are higher protein than carb. Since the Slimfast shakes are almost 25 g. of carbs already and loaded with sugar I try to stick to berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries) and nuts (about 5-6 jumbo cashews or about 20 peanuts) for my snack- or even a 1 oz piece of hard cheese. Then for my meal I try to make it less than 20% carbs- I'm doing Slimfast but also trying to keep my carbs below 100g a day. I find this really helps kick my weight loss up there. And I walk atleast 5x a week for a little over an hour.
I also drink loads of water- sometimes with lemon in it- but besides the skim milk with the shake I really don't drink any other beverages- maybe once a month I'll have a diet soda. You'll find you really aren't hungry if you keep that snack up- and I love that I'm getting my vitamins- it makes me feel much more energetic. Keep us update on how you're doing- it's so nice to find others doing the same plan!! Oh, and don't forget on their website they have weigh in charts that help you see your weight heading downwards- I really like plugging in those losses! :)

I do a shake in the morning, a light lunch, a shake around 4:30 so I can make it to my youth football practice and usually have a light snack when I get home at 7:30, so far I have lost about 20 pounds in a month... As time goes on it seems I get less hungry..
