Question for republicans

Actually, you should learn a little more about your candidate. His whole life has been spent at the feet of those who wish to lead this country towards socialism from Frank Marshall Davis, to the pew of Rev. Wright, to the home of Bill Ayers.

Grasping at straws???

Old unfounded arguments die hard???

No, you should learn a little more about my candidate. You're wrong about his political perspective. He's not a socialist. He doesn't propose socialism. You're wrong.

To be fair, it may not be that: It could be that you're making it seem like you don't know about Obama, because you figure that calling him a socialist will scare ignorant folks into voting against him.

One or the other.

Well ok then.......but if you two are wrong.....Oh, well I'm gonna......I mean Oh, this is gonna sting.......

I'm going to harangue you both on a Disney Message Board.

 ......or at least until they come to take me away to the Re-education Camp (for 1,000hrs per year).......

Good thing McCain/Palin is going to win (whew)

Wait a second.....you are both supposed to say the exact same thing....and in unison as OS......(interesting breach of established policy)

Well, you know they inserted chips into our brains so we speak from a script at all times. We have pre-arranged answers.

Psssst. It's not nice to make jokes about the horrors that came during the Nazi regime. It's not nice...and it's not funny.

Didnt do well at all in 2000.

How again did the Democrats cheat in 2000 and 2004?

My DD's friend is in trouble for cheating on her Algebra test. Apparently half the class cheated and the teacher didn't find out until handing the tests back. The highest score out of the kids that cheated was a C. My DD's friend got a D. :rotfl2: These kids apparently learned how to cheat from the democrats!

I prefer the term "socialist lite".

As opposed to McCain/Palin, which is "theocratic fascism lite"?

The facts are the facts. One just has to look at those he regarded as his mentors; those he regarded as his pastor, those he regarded as his associates, his friends, his real estate partner. The list is lengthy. He can say that they "aren't the (fill in the blank) that he used to know" but he has more friends and associates that he "used to know", than anyone I know.

The facts are the facts: You aren't providing facts, but inaccuracies.

If Obama were to win (personal feelings about him aside) how do you think you will review the results? What I mean is, you may hate him, think he will destroy the world, not react correctly in a crisis, etc but do you feel like the results will be fair? With all the Acorn discussions and the obviously hate this election has generated on both sides, I am curious if republicans are already thinking that the results are going to favor Obama because the whole thing was rigged to begin with?

I should point out that I am bringing this up because a republican friend and I were talking about this tonight. She said there are "credible sources" out there that are already taking steps to fight the results. She claims to have read many articles about this. I haven't seen word one about it myself.

I'm not a Republican but I'll respond to part of your comment. There are a number of lawyers on both sides ready to challenge the results. A significant number of attornies from my firm are either volunteering or being paid to do election monitoring and to be ready to file complaints related to any vote counting, voter fraud, etc. My understanding is that they are doing this work directly for whichever of the two campaigns they happen to support.

Personally, I think the media has been all for Obama and has swayed this election in his direction. No one will ever convince me otherwise, so please, nobody try ;) . That said, I believe that the Bible teaches me that God places the people in control who He wants in control and always has. So, if Obama wins, I believe there is a bigger reason that we all know and we'll have to wait to see what it brings. I'm sure no one wants "church" brought into this, but you asked for opinions and I'm giving you mine. Usually, with me, God's a factor in most facets in my life so... :)

If Obama is elected President of this country I will accept that and be a good citizen--as long as nothing was to interfere between me and my relationship to God. :)

:thumbsup2
From what I have seen the Obama supports tend to be much more radical than the McCain supporters, infact, most McCain supporters I know in real life, aren't voting for McCain they are voting against Obama.

So, my prediction, is there will be rioting in the streets, there will be people screaming on the TV, there will be court challanges...

I agree. I work in downtown St. Paul - right by where the RNC was. The whack jobs that protested were way out of hand. I can only imagine if Obama loses - it will be pandemonium.

If nothing else - seeing them all act like savage beasts made me realize I don't want to vote along the same lines as they do - thus my vote going to McCain...

I know there are plenty of people voting for Obama, but I think he will win due to fraud like Acorn and others, because he has enormous amount of money, and because people are either ready to give socialism a try or they just don;t know any better. If he loses, I will acknowledge he is President, but I will also remember to play by the rules Reps have been subjected to for 8 years. Remember...dissent is patriotic! I will not be drinking the koolaid anytime soon.

So a lunatic that would claim to be robbed and raped by a black man and carve a B onto her own face and blacken her eye wouldn't be a beast in your eyes? You don't think there are crazies on both sides?

Nazis had concentrationslager (concentration camps). These were extermination facilities. I don't joke about Genocide.

Re-education Camp has more of a "Maoist" connotation most recently seen in the former Republic of South Vietnam, where the idea was to reform people like me (you know, Free folk) into socialist subjects through labor.

Throw in a little brain-washing (maybe some groupthink Sarah Palin abhorring) and you get the idea.

George Orwell 1984 images of a bleak Socialist future, I do joke about.....

:)

All through this election, some people have chosen which "crazies" they choose to see and which they choose to ignore, typically based on which side they want to view more favorably. What really matters isn't the crazies but rather how the candidates interact with them: Does the candidate spur the crazies in their audiences? or condemn them?

The facts are the facts: You aren't providing facts, but inaccuracies.

What facts aren't facts. Obama's relationship with Wright.....his minister, Ayers.....his neighbor and colleague or Davis....the socialist/communist, friend of the family and his mentor?

Inaccurate: "His whole life has been spent at the feet"

Thanks for the advice.

I see it now......it just looked lonely....out there by itself......

Bicker...was that your response to my question? I will admit ....Wright and Davis are the two with whom he has the closest ties.
