Question for POP goers

First time at Pop, and was wondering. . . after you check in, are there plenty of dollies for transporting luggage from vehicle to room? Do you need to park in the lot first?? What is the general process? Thanks!

We just returned today from our second trip to POP. We were in the 50's section and was able to park pretty close and not use a dolly, however I did see quite a lot of them sitting at the luggage assistance area. We have never used the luggage assistance so we usually just check in first and then go park the car as close to our room as possible. We had a really great time and was able to see both the Epcot and Magic Kingdom fireworks from the balcony. I hope you have a great time!

We were there in late April and we did use the mug and all the ice machiens we encountered were working.
You can pull up to tehunloading area and CMs will help you unload and put your luggage on a cart. You then go check in. If YOU want to take the luagge, you just take the cart from there, If you want THEM to take your luggage, they will do so, but it could be a 1-2 hour wait. Still, we do that- drop it off, get a room key, head to a park and reunite with our luggage later!

If you use a cart on your own, they will have you sign a slip putting a $250 refundable deposit on your room charge.

Both times we've stayed at Pop we've just left our bags with Luggage Assistance for them to bring to the room later on. Very easy! If you want to take it yourself they do have carts that you can put a deposit down on. You'll wait in the same line (right outside the main entrance to the lobby) for both.

Wow! Why put such a deposit down! What is wrong with people that they can't return them in a timely fashion so now it has come to this???
