Question For Parents Of School Aged Children

I'd say it's pretty common to have alot of non-participants. Right from day one of preschool, I always bought and sold everything that there was, and I thought that's how it was for all parents - I learned alot through the years. Lots of parents (who can easily afford it) just don't give a rat's butt. They don't get involved in school activities and they don't do fundraisers period. I'm not saying people should do everything, but there are plenty who refuse to do anything at all. It's kind of sad.

That said, I hate selling stuff. I'd rather write a check and be done with it.

We no longer participate in those fundraisers.

I make a donation to the PTA at the beginning of the year and I volunteer at the school for various things on a regular basis.
