Ok, I have been in June, but early June and I always got a decent airfare, at least what passes for decent up here.
Now I am going June 22-26...no choice in dates, they are fixed as it's a trip I earned. Even though I earned the trip, I get a travel allowance and am responsible for booking my own airfare. No problem except the airfare is way higher than I am used to.
I like to pay less than $220 out of MSP. I know some people already got good airfare for June, but I hadn't had this trip in the bag that last time good fares were around. Personally this waiting it out is driving me nuts. I usually buy my airfare way in advance, as soon as I see a deal I can live with. I haven't seen a deal I can live with yet.
So do I have a prayer of the airfare coming down? I know SC just lowered their prices to $239 for my dates. But NWA is still hangin at $305 - and that's for the sucky times.
Once we get within that 3 month window, do I have a chance at something a little lower?
