Is there one part of May better than another? We're looking at May 14-19, hoping they do some kind of promotion as well. How are crowds during this time?

May is a great month to visit, except for the Memorial Day holiday when it is hectic.

http://www.allearsnet.com/pl/events.htm#may - here is the link to what is planned for May 2006.

The crowds are not very bad - except for perhaps the weekends. The weather - inconsistent as it can be - is usually not intolerably hot. I don't handle hot weather well, :faint: and I have been pretty comfortable visiting during this time of year.

I agree with beccasmom, May is good month to visit. Our last trip was May 11-18 and the weather was perfect, no crowds and we had a great time. You're going to enjoy going in May.

Have a good time...

We went last May (8-13). No crowds during the week. It was hot, but not unbearable. The lack of crowds made everything more enjoyable. On Friday, we noticed a big increase in crowds, though that was our last day. We would go in May again no problem, especially to see the Flower & Garden Festival at Epcot.

May is a great time to go. The crowds are not bad. On our trip in May 05, we were able to walk on to some of the most popular rides such as RNR, Splash MT, Space Mt, and MS. The crowds did up on the weekends and the weather was great, we only had rain one evening. From experience it seems that the closer you go to Memorial Day, the busier it will be. We really like going in May and our going back again in May 2006. Have fun planning your trip!

I am also planning May 7-14. I have always gone around the fourth of july because i liked the 4ths spectacular fireworks display. Crowds where large and temp was hot with the help of the UG and sites like this it was manageable. So i was also interested in how much more laid back it will be at that time and does my touring plan have to be very aggressive? :teacher: :hourglass :confused3
