Here’s the dilemma. This coming Sunday morning I need to visit: Shades of Green, Wilderness Lodge, Fort Wilderness, Grand Floridian and Polynesian. I want to do this in the quickest and easiest way possible. I’ll have a car but wouldn’t mind just parking in one place and then taking boats, monorail, busses from there. I don’t want to park at the TTC since I won’t have my annual pass (hence free parking) until I’ve visited Shades of Green. And I’d like to do Fort Wilderness first since we’re having breakfast there. Are you still with me? Any ideas?

Thanks.

Wow, that's quite the dilema. I don't see how you can park at one place and hit all those locations without parking at the TTC. I'm sure there is more than one way to do this, but here's one idea:

Drive to Fort Wilderness. Eat Breakfast

Drive to Shades of Green. Buy AP.

Drive to TTC and park car.

Walk to Poly (unless the monorail is at the station, it's faster to just walk).

Take monorail from Poly to GF.

Take monorail from GF to MK.

Take boat from MK to Wilderness Lodge.

Once at the Wilderness Lodge, there may be a bus back to TTC. Not sure about that. If there isn't, then boat back to MK and take the monorail from MK to TTC.

Guest services will refund your parking fee for the day you buy your AP. I'd just park in TTC and go from there. The other option would be to drive to FW, eat breakfast, drive to Shades of Green, walk to POLY and complete your day.

I haven't visited all the places you've listed, but can't you do this?

Drive to Fort Wilderness for breakfast.

Take the boat/bus to Wilderness lodge. I've also read something about a walking trail between FW and WL, but I have no idea how long it is.

Take the boat to MK or to the Contemporary.

Take the monorail to GF and Polynesian, but you would have to transfer monorails at TTC, I believe. If you took the boat from WL to Contemporary, you could take the monorail directly to GF and Poly. I don't know if the boat from WL stops at the CR or MK first.

There are two different boat routes that service WL.

One does the WL,FW,MK loop

The other does the WL,FW,CR loop.

You do no have to change monorails. Once you are on the resort monorail, it goes to MK, CR,TTC,Poly, GF and MK

Was thinking of doing the same thing our last day at WDW before our flight out at 4.45pm.

We will be using the WDW transport. Will we have time to do this? Too rushed???
