I first went on M:S in January. It was very intense. I had tears streaming from the corners of my eyes during the lift-off. I felt very woozy afterward, and wasn't sure I'd ever try it again.

Last Monday, I decided I wanted to try again. It was much, much tamer this time. Seriously, I could have slept through it. I know it wasn't just my imagination. They were having some technical difficulties - only two out of the four were running, so I'm wondering if this might have contributed. DH rode it earlier in the day, and said it was the same as he remembered from the first time.

I'm just wondering if others who have been on it multiple times have noticed differences in intensity.

The first time you rode did you sit in one of the outer seats...I think the two outside seats are more intense, as you receive more of the spinning sensation.

Actually, I was in the exact same seat as the first time. Not just the same position, but the EXACT same seat! LOL! (It was the navigator position, the first seat on the right, BTW)

I rode M:S in Oct 2003, Dec 2003 and May 2004. The ride felt the same each time

My experience was the exact oposite. My first ride last summer I was a little disoriented after the ride, not sick really but a little woozy feeling. I decided to ride it again this past trip and I was pretty sick. If I would have had one of the barf bags I probably would have used it. DS 9 was the same. As interesting as I think this ride is I won't chance it again and probably won't ride again.
