Question for John or Kevin

On a show a long time back John mentioned a group from the 80's that was his favorite and I cannot for the life of me remember who it was. I think it was an episode where the podcast team was talking about what they had on their I-pods. It was a new wave type group and at the time I looked them up and really liked them but now cannot recollect their name. Can anyone help?

Was it Erasure? I rem them talking about Erasure once, not sure if it was same conversation..... Or Pet Shop Boys? New Order? LOL Those were 3 of my faves back in the 80s!
