You get a chip for the 1/2 and one for the full. 2 Chips as they cut off the one after you finish the 1/2

And just make sure to use the correct one on the correct day.... I personally was so worried about it I actually didn't trust the envelopes they came in and read the teeny tiny serial numbers on them to make sure I had the correct one.

That is kind of what my fear is. I am a little neurotic that way. I guess one way to solve that problem is to buy my own chip and register it for both races.
