Question for Fireworks experts (hardware)

So far I've managed 274,132. I mostly use a Microsoft Bluetooth mouse and keyboard. Previously, I took the advise of using wired mouse but found that after a while I was achieving the same scores whether wired or wireless. I think it is all a state of mind. Once you get a rhythm down it isn't so much dependent on a mouse tail or not. Oddly enough I find that I can usually perform better on the laptop which is slightly slower than the desktop. Personally, I think the keyboard has a lot to do with it too, especially in the later rounds when quick changes are more needed. The shorter stroke of the laptop keys make it much more responsive than the desktop's keyboard.

Kinda like my golf game. Doesn't really matter what kind of equipment I use, I can't break 100.

I used to use a cheapy wired mouse. Then a couple of months ago I got a new laptop and a new wireless mouse (Microsoft USB). My wife uses the old mouse and I use the new mouse. They both work just fine, but I've had to fine tune the mice for each laptop. It took me a month or so before I started playing better with the new mouse because it was SO sensetive compared to the cheapy wired mouse, so I had to slow the mouse speed down. The older (but not by far), cheapy wired mouse I have to speed the mouse up as far as it will go. I'd play around with the settings before you consider a new mouse.

Thanks for that tip. I will have to test that. I use a wireless and finally just started to hit 240K.
