So...this is probably an odd question, but I need advice.

I'm 22 and in otherwise good health. I never get sick, am active and get my sleep, eat healthy, etc.

For several years...as long as I can remember, my feet burn/itch/hurt intensely after I get out of hot water (shower, bath, hot tubs). Cold water doesn't irritate it and there's no visible rash or irritation. It hurts so bad that I can't walk or let anything touch my feet. It lasts anywhere from 5 to 30 minutes and putting pressure on the bottom of my feet worsens it. I've never asked a doctor about it because there's no outward signs of any problems. Any ideas?

You should mention it to your doctor. Even if there is nothing to "see", it may be indictative of another condition they could check you for and/or one of those sort of symptoms that "always means this".

Definitely discuss with a medical practitioner rather than getting off-the-wall theories here. I would question how hot the water is that you are bathing your feet in or perhaps whether you are sensitive to something that is in the water or that you are adding to the water. Blood pressure and circulation could be factors.

Plantar fasciitis does not manifest itself in this way nor does diabetic neuropathy. You would feel pain at other times if you had those conditions.

Until you get an explanation, stay out of hot water!
