Bill - I don't mean to put any pressure on you, but any idea when an updated DVC-Planner will be available?

Also, for those who are like myself who have moved to a Mac from a PC and really missed Bill's great program. I found a way to run it on my Mac. There are several commercial programs that you can buy (Parallels and Fusion) that let you install Windows on your Mac; but I found a free program called VirtualBox (developed by Sun Microsystems) that does the same thing and IMO runs better than either of the two commercial programs. I installed VirtualBox and then installed Windows XP on my Mac and now have DVC-Planner running great. I now have the best of both worlds, the Mac OS plus access to some of the PC programs that I couldn't find Mac replacements for. Note - to do this you will need to have a licensed copy of Microsoft XP (which I just happened to have). It also works with Vista. Hope this is of some value to anyone who was in a similar situation as mine.

I've also been wondering about the update, but didn't want to apply any pressure as I'm sure this is a major undertaking.

I surely wish there was a Mac version of the program. I know there's software out there that does the job nicely, but I've always been fond of Caskbill's simple interface.

Actually, when I "check for program updates" through DVC Tracker, it tells me there is a new version available (2.01). However, when I check Caskbill's registered users website, it is only the older 2.0 version that is available.

:confused3

Thanks for pointing that out. V2.01 was never released. It was just a simple error correction and will now be included in the next release currently being developed.

Wolfpack, thanks for the info about Mac. I'll add that info to the download site.

Bill - If you want to include a link to VirtualBox it is http://www.virtualbox.org/. Frankly, I have no idea why anyone would want to purchase the commercial products. I've tried all three and VB is much faster and just as easy to use as the others.
