Question for Buzz2001 (or other CSR experts!) regarding the Pepper Market...

Hi Buzz!

I've been reading lots of CSR threads and it seems like you have all the good info! I will be at CSR this August. I'm thrilled that I am finally going to be staying there, but my one concern is with the Pepper Market. I understand that there is a 10% gratuity, and that is no problem. My real concern is how convenient it is to wait for seats, be semi-waited, etc. I eat a lot of meals at the resort food courts during relatively busy times on the way to the parks and I really like to be in and out. Do you think the Pepper Market is just as convient as other food courts even though it has some added services? Thanks for the input!

We stayed at CSR last July and never waited more than 5 minutes to be seated in the Pepper Market. You can refill your drink mug without waiting for the server to get it for you if you are pressed for time. In the one instance when we felt we did not have any real "service", we asked to have the 10% removed and it was taken off our bill with no problem. We loved the Pepper Market!

The four of us (adults) really liked the PM. Of course, it was JANUARY. (2001 -- Slightly slow )
The cashier's area was very slow when we were there and they used our flex features on cheap meals without asking. It took some doing to straighten out that mess.
But those were our only gripes about PM.
We stayed at ASMo this last January. DH really missed the PM.
We stay in May at POR. He's hoping their restaurant is as good as PM.
We all liked our food, the great variety and it was fresh. We ordered nachos a few times and it was always enough to feed two, unless one person really is HUNGRY.

During the times we have stayed at CSR (April & November time frames), we have never had to wait for a seat at the PM. It is very large and very different than other food courts. I have had to wait in the line of the specific food I wanted to order but nothing outrageous or that sticks out in my mind. Very good food at the PM, you should enjoy it.

We've stayed at CSR 3 times now and really like the Pepper Market. Never had to wait for a seat, but when you want something, like pizza, you might have to wait a little bit, but it's worth it. The food here is really good. I always got Chinese & loved it and my husband gets the pizza & really liked it. Only time we had to really wait was at the cash register.
Great picture Buzz2001....makes me miss the place big time.
Another thing, make sure you try the breakfast at Maya Grill....buffet & it's great. We got there when they opened and didn't need PS.
