Question for anyone who has flown into Sanford

I am curious - I love the Magical Express which is only for MCO but what about Sanford?

Is there any option to transport us from that airport to ASMusic?

I don't really want to spend a thousand dollars to rent a car for two weeks when we won't use a car at all upon arrival at Disney.

Rent it from Sanford and dropping off at WDW. I'm not sure of the Sanford options, but Alamo and National have sites at the Car Care Center and at the...Dolphin? Maybe Swan.

And there are other rental agencies with nearby sites at WDW as well.

Whatever you do, don't decide that a price you see for a date months from now is absolutely positively the rate you'll end up seeing. Keep checking.

What we did was rent a car for one day and it was able to pick up groceries on the way, and my husband drove it the Auto Car Care center ( I think that's the name?) and they drove him back to our hotel. We also have done this going home, rented a car for just the drive back and they picked up hubby at the hotel (AOA) and he drove the car back and the next morning we drove to Sanford. It saved about 1000 in air fare for us so it was worth the car rental price for a day.

There is a post with available car service from Sanford, but there is also the option when on Allegiant web site to book shuttle, $61 or so dollars. Not sure if that is PP one way or group of two.

If you book AVP or Allegiant, go up the airport an buy your tickets it is less money.
In your other post I mention AVP flight is in the evening, but leaving out of ABE is 10 am.

The reverse is true coming home, that late afternoon flight to AVP instead of the really early am flight to ABE.

We rent from Budget at Sanford for one day and do the grocery shopping for our DVC unit. Turn it in at Doubletree Suites on Hotel Boulevard Drive at DTD. They will transport you back to the resort. Then when we go back to Sanford just do it in reverse. The location code for checking Budget prices for the Doubletree is M03.

Just one thought on the rental for a day in and day back.....it takes a lot of time out of the day to do this. Compare it to the car service and see which is more tempting. The car service will be there to pick you up, stop for a grocery pickup, and curbside drop you back off. No returning cars, fitting all the baggage and getting lost in the circles of roadways.

The other thing is watch three weeks out for two week rentals at the airport and by luck it may balance out to the car service or two days of rentals.
