FYI, you only have to give the front desk a credit card if you want to charge back to the room. There is no requirement to do so.browniemtb said:Can this actually happen. Yes, technically the owner is responsible if guests/renters do not abide by the all the rules and responsibilities of owners as decribed in the contract.
IMHO, this is a minimal risk, but it does exist.
