I'm loving everyone's thoughts. It's nice to hear the likes and dislikes and the general comparisons. Keep them coming!

Been to Disney 51 times stayed at all.the moderates and have to say French quarter is my favorite rooms are a decent size has queen beds and it is quiet. C.B. is also nice it is a huge resort and their food court is excellent but only has full size beds. My least favorite is Coronado springs more for business traveller and their food court is awful. My vote is French quarter.

I can only hope that I'll get to visit 51 times!

Have stayed at POR, POFQ and CBR. Out of those three, CBR is our favorite. Nothing wrong with POR or POFQ, we just happen to like CBR for the following reasons:

Better food court
Better themed pool
Each village has it's own bus stop so you're never far from one
Each village has it's own quiet pool
The grounds are gorgeous
Check-in/Check-out is completely separate from food court/arcade/shop which makes it much less chaotic

Again, you can't go wrong with any of them. :thumbsup2

we've stayed at POR 3x (going back for a 4th in Dec) and CSR once-I loved them both but POR wins by a nose...great food court, landscaping is beautiful, and we love the boat to DTD. CSR has better bus service, the rooms had a more upscale feel (liked the pocket door instead of just a curtain between the vanity area and sleeping area), and we loved the breakfast at Pepper Market when it was a buffet.

Of course you can't go wrong with any of them, it's Disney after all :)

I wish I could vote in your poll, but I haven't tried them all so it wouldn't be fair. So far, I've stayed at POFQ and CBR. POFQ, I liked the resort but not the room (too plain and boring for Disney). CBR, I liked the room (splurged for a Pirates-themed room, despite just being me and DW with no kids) but not the resort. Especially hated bus service to and from CBR, since the buses make several time-consuming and crowded stops within the CBR and when you're at the parks, CBR is always the farthest stop from the parks at all four.

This year, I'm giving CSR a try, though my stay will be too late for it to be of any help to you. POR was actually my first choice, but it was booked, so I'm "settling" for CSR.

We have stayed at two CBR and CSR. Both were nice but we liked CSR better.

CSR has a bigger pool. :thumbsup2 We were there in late June early July and the pool did not seem crowded -lots of room to spread out and swim without being right on top of other people like it felt at CBR.

:beach:Both had sandy white beaches and hammocks that we enjoyed at both. :beach:

We loved Pepper Market over the standard food court at CBR. great food for counter service credit.

We liked how CSR had queen beds over doubles.

Well so far CSR is in the lead, POR, POFQ, CBR, and then The cabins. Guess it's time to do some more research. Keep the suggestions coming!
