Question for "24" experts

You're not alone. I saw it too.

But then I'm hypersensitive to that stuff.

It's a story. Entertainment. Writers tend to get some of their material from the world in which they live. Are their perceptions/experiences different than others? you betcha ... so what?

Do you think there are subliminal messages in everything? Can't you just watch something for the ENTERTAINMENT???

simply amazing ... :surfweb:

I thought it was really good. I am so fascinated by Africa and what goes on there. It was so sad about the kids, and I kept saying to dh, "do these things really happen?" Hard to believe.

I know they said the dvd will be out on Tues for those who missed it and want to buy it. I am sure they will re-play it before the season starts in January, especially since it is setting up the next season.

Dawn-no that is not what was aired last night. Last night was a 2 hour movie called, "Redemtion."

I can't believe it. I forgot all about it last night!!! :scared1:  Does anyone know if it will be re aired or can be watched on line??

Is this what aired last night?

It's on iTunes. They said it would be available somewhere (don't remember where) and on iTunes today.

IMO, it was worth a watch. But Keifer (as usual, these days) was phoning it in a bit.

It wasn't regular 24. It was 24:Redemption. You know how they do the little "between seasons" things on the DVDs? It was like that, just waaaay longer and without any swear words (except "son of a *****", Jack called the UN guy that. And then told him to...well, you'll see. It was pretty funny.) What was confusing was that the clock ticked five hours in a two-hour show. I'm so used to one hour being one hour.

The clock ticked off 2 hours. It started at 3:00 and ended at 5:00.

the story took place between 3pm and 5 pm - it was two hours - real time

I just found it on Fox. I book marked it and will watch it later. Hurray. Even though I have to watch it on the Mac, I can watch it.

That explains why we were so confused. :rotfl: The whole time, we were just like, "It's been over 3 hours? Did we miss episodes? No, this is the first one, they've already done that many. God, they're going fast. How many are they doing? They better hurry up if it is 24. Now it's like they're going to slow. What the hell is going on?"

I thought I was watching entertainment too, but what do I know?

And for the record. The new, female president, would most likely be a Republican. Both Palmers were Democrats, which means the outgoing president who was Wayne Palmer's VP is also a Democrat. And since the bit of conversation we heard about the election made it seem like she beat him, that makes her a Republican.
