Since MS was closed I thought I'd ask you guys. My use year is Oct. I will get 173 pts. (have already borrowed 27) Thinking about taking the cruise in the fall. Do I have to wait until Oct.1st to book? We would need to borrow up to 117pts depending on stateroom. We have friends leaving on the Sept. 29th sailing, and would like to go with them. Is there any way we could pull that off? Thanks in advance.

Yes, for a Sep 2001 cruise- ou will have to borrow points from your Oct use year- if you have no 2000 points left. Keep in mind that once borrowed, those points can't be returned to 2001 UY and will have to be used by Sept 30, 2001. Enjoy the cruise.

To answer the question about waiting to book. No, as long as you are within the 11 mo window and you will have the points available (through either the use year or borrowing) on the date of the cruise begins you will be able to book the cruise.
